Erica didn’t want to hassle with a large, traditional wedding, so she and Ryan exchanged vows on the beach on Coronado with just a few friends, sand, and sky. We took advantage of the beautiful evening light for some photographs prior to their sunset ceremony, which was well, picture perfect of course. San Diego rarely disappoints. Congratulations Ryan and Erica!
Adam and Danielle are absolutely wonderful, I’m so fortunate to have met them. They are from Minnesota and had been trying to plan a large wedding there, but it just became too much, so they decided to come out to San Diego and elope. Neither of them had ever been to San Diego and didn’t know where they wanted to have their ceremony, but they knew they wanted to have it by the water in the evening towards sunset. I suggested the Wedding Bowl in La Jolla, they looked into it and reserved the date. Now I find myself out working in the evening quite often and have certainly witnessed more than my fair share of memorable sunsets, but Adam and Danielle couldn’t have picked a better evening. No fog, no wind, the temperature was ideal. It was so perfect it was a bit surreal. At one point I had to lower my camera, take a deep breath, and just take it all in. It was such a beautiful evening, it’s difficult to put into words. Thank god for cameras right? That’s exactly why I love what I do so much. To be able to share and capture such amazing and important moments and help people remember them for the rest of their lives.
